In addition to the items listed in the catalog we also have a SPANISH OBJECT KIT.
For those working with bilingual or Spanish speaking students the kit helps develop phonemic awareness and the alphabetic principle in Spanish. The kit consists of 30 objects representing consonants and vowels. In addition, there are also objects representing the unique letter combination's in Spanish. Each kit is packaged
with a set of 30-8 1/2 x 11 inch brightly colored cards, with full-page object pictures and corresponding letters. There are also a set of black line masters with smaller objects and letters. These allow the student to engage in word study and games to reinforce the important concepts of sound blending, segmentation and phonemic awareness. This kit assists students in understanding these aspects of their own language before they transition to Process Phonics in English. Objects with the same sound in Spanish and English are the same.
